I just wanted to lampshade this cool store (it's not just on the web, they also have a brick and mortar shop in Lyon) I've been going to from time to time :
Last night, I had the joy to play a game of GOSU with a total of 4 players : much fun was had!
This format takes a lot longer than any of the other games of GOSU I played up to now (it lasted between 2h30 and 3h). But the strategy level is much higher. The powers that enable you to win through less classic methods become vital, and mutating your goblins and gaining new cards will be your focus throughout the game.
Up till now, I had always had a hard time playing the Ancient Goblins; but in this format, the player that has the most cards to play will always have the upper hand.
The Dark Goblins clan is another very usefull clan to access the right type of goblins in the best timing, and also disable your oponents' goblins.
In the end game, I also noted that bringing in some Fire Goblins to snipe out your oponents' generals can be a last minute solution to get that final victory point.
This format seems a lot more balanced than the games with less players; and seeing your oponents gain victory points isn't as heartbreaking because you know you fought the "good fight". Also, intentionaly loosing a round can be very rewarding in the end once your oponents are empty handed. But if your strategy is to stow away as many cards as possible, beware of the goblins that shrink your hand!
Yay! Not only I recently got my first orders, but the customer happens to be the world record holder of the largest collection of dice (http://www.dicecollector.com/), and he kindly took pictures of the 3D prints :
